Just because there are scammers all over the internet selling bootleg designer jeans, it does not mean that you can’t find the real deal for a bargain of a price. If you use the information that I provided on this page, you will end up with a pair of authentic True Religion jeans.
If you are still in doubt, and not sure about a specific pair that you want to purchase online, you can leave a comment below and I will try my best to authenticate them for you.

Re: ulstyle.com and similar sites…
It still amazes me when people are absolutely convinced that sites like these sell genuine goods. I think you people are seeing what you want to see, rather than what’s actually going on out there. You are not getting bargains… At the very best, you’re getting cheap, poor quality fakes which ironically aren’t worth the small price you pay. Worst case scenario - you’re funding organised crime in another country, and potentially leaving yourself wide open to credit card fraud and identity theft. Many purchasers probably don’t care, but I wholeheartedly wish they would! It’s serious business

Brian -
Some of the distressing on the TRs looks really poorly done, they’re either factory seconds (unlikely) or a bulk lot of fakes. The fact that the guy has that much supposedly high quality gear for sale would be ringing alarm bells for me. Any purchase from that guy would be a big risk.
December 26th, 2009 at 8:35 am
I was wondering if someone might be able to help. I bought a pair of TR jeans, will attach item number and link, but when they didn’t fit I tried to resell. Someone told me these are fakes and I need proof that they indeed are so I can go after my seller that I got them from.
Item number 140363243098
Thanks so much

Hi Gracy,
I would say that they do look a bit dodgy. The horseshoes on the back look a little ‘lazy’, in that they should stretch wider and deeper within the frame of the pocket. Also, the pointed tips of the flaps don’t look as pronounced as they should. The distressing also looks a bit… ‘flat’. As far as proof goes, I really would try to find an approved TR stockist near to you, to confirm their authenticity. I’ve found them to be quite helpful in the past.
Check out this link for examples of genuine pockets… http://www.truereligionbrandjeans.com/pocket_guide_men/index.html
Hope this helps!

James - I think those are fakes. The stitching on the pockets is not correct for a pair of Super Ts.
db - Not sure about those. They generally look ok; stitching and distressing looks fine, but I can’t work out why they’re so cheap. If they’re new with tags, why do they need repairing? Seller doesn’t state how they got damaged… Proceed with caution there I think.
Jordan - They look good to me!
December 31st, 2009 at 12:03 am
Siya, stich on the side should be long, almost to the knee. db that pair is Real, and to monkeybusiness concern seller stated there a 1.5″ hole on left knee. it still looks fine to me, seem like a factory distress.
December 31st, 2009 at 2:32 pm
I wonder if anyone can tell me whether this website sells authentic TR jeans. They tell me its so cheap because the get it straight from the factory and do not have many employees, but I don’t believe them.

e-truereligionjeans.com sells fake, they stole pics from the official site.
January 1st, 2010 at 11:19 am
All legal business that sell goods needs to have a address phone and fax to contact them if address is not showing is a red flags also branded items are distributed by chain channel if a pay of TR cost 200 there is no way how a reseller can sell for 60 a 60 bucks its a fake from China. but you get what you pay for.
January 1st, 2010 at 5:24 pm
I bought these jeans before educating myself…the inside tag says “design in USA” instead of “made in USA”, and the Buddha’s on the inside are faded. And getting them at only $40…well, should I send these back?? He does have a 7 day return policy and I just got them yesterday.
Love this forum…wish I would have looked for it sooner!!

UlStyle is very honest about being replica’s. They don’t claim to be selling authentic brands at crazy low prices. Before I ordered from them I emailed them to ask because I was nieve & didn’t know the difference. They responded quickly & told me that they sell only high quality replica’s.
January 15th, 2010 at 11:43 am
Lea - I’m not aware of any Bobby-style womens shorts, and there’s nothing on the official website. I couldn’t be 100% sure about their authenticity, but I get a sneaky feeling they’re not quite right. The rainbow horseshoes don’t look like any that I’ve ever seen. $40 would be very cheap too, even at sale prices.
Anna - Possibly; my oldest pair of TRs are about six years old have Buddhas on the lining, although it’s a bit dull through washing. I’m not aware of any style of TRs that don’t have the printed lining…
Micky - Yes, they sell fakes.
Mue - I’m 95% certain they’re fake.
January 15th, 2010 at 11:46 am
Mary - I disagree entirely about their honesty; they are clearly and purposely infringing on a huge amount of copyrighted brands, and using that brand association to pull in uninformed people who do not know that they’re about to buy fakes. Just look at the number of people on this blog who’ve ask about ulstyle - evidently they’re NOT being honest if people have to seek clarification at a place like this. If you’re happy wearing cheap fakes, then fine - but not everyone who goes to that site will know what kind of ‘business’ it is.

sallyisdabomb - I’m not registered on ulstyle, so I can’t see anything from that link. However, ulstyle DO NOT sell genuine products. You can order from them, and I’m sure they’re very nice, polite and helpful but they sell fakes.
Mue - Pretty sure those are fake. The top of the horseshoes should be disappearing further underneath the pocket flap. Also, “Billy” style should have an inseam of 34″, as correctly stated in the description, but the belt label states 33″. God knows how that seller hasn’t had any negative feedback despite selling fakes…
