Since there are so many dishonest people all over the web pushing cheap imitations you are probably thinking that it is impossible to buy an authentic pair of designer denim at a discount. Do not loose hope! By using the information found on this website and with a little bit of luck, you can own a pair of real Evisu Jeans for next to nothing.
If you still require assistance, you can leave a comment below and I will try my best to validate a pair for you.

i’m a big evisu fan, but i don’t really like the latest evisu denim design. they’re just too much for me. some are too weird. the gold brush diacock is my favorite, but i couldn’t get my hand on one. it’s an older design, evisu doesn’t produce it anymore. almost impossible to find one in my size.
the only recent evisu denim that grab my attention is the puma x evisu jeans. i really really like it. the attention to details is crazy. the fitting is superb. i got one already. and i’m going to buy another one because i found puma online code that gives 20% off. and i think i should share it with you guys. just enter “pumaweb” (without ” of course) as the promotional code. expired on 4/17/08. bear in mind that puma x evisu doesn’t have selvedge, and the quality is not as good as the regular evisu genes, but it’s still worth it for me. and also, the 20% off is good for all items, not just the denim.

Greetings,
I was wondering if evisu have ever made genes with the back gulls facing opposite directions on the pockets or have they always been the same?
Many Thanks

Hey i wanted to know if Street Moda sells authentic evisus.
they look fine but the price is just too low?
his other stuff looks alright too.

July 26th, 2008 at 10:45 am
To answer the first question…IMO Street Moda’s Evisu are fake…because i bought a pair of women’s jeans off the Evisu (international) site a couple years back…Street Moda has the same pair of jeans but with different colored gulls, S.M. has them in blue and white….the pair I purchased off of Evisu didn’t have color options, the gull (one pocket capri) is made out of gold thread, and there’s only one style for these capris…
July 27th, 2008 at 3:15 pm
I have seen those evisus on exclusivefashion.com and I just want to know is those evisus are real?
August 12th, 2008 at 10:26 pm
NEVER go to ebay for evisu, its just too hard to find real genuine sellers.
September 7th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
Hi, I have a pair of Evisus which I purchased from what I thought was a reputable store but the inside tag definitely corresponds with the “fake” one here: no silver thread, ~1.5″ long. Do you have a source on all this? Everything else seems genuine.
If they’re fakes, the denim is definitely high quality as they’ve served me well for a year or so and have broken in nicely - maybe I should just pretend that I hadn’t accidentally stumbled on this website

Hey er der nogle der ved hvor man kan købe ægte Evisu jeans fordi dem Inde i københavn er fake!
?

This may be an alright guide to knowing whether your Evisus are real or fake but wtf is with the conclusion to this piece? You can get a pair of real Evisus for “next to nothing”? No you can’t. The first principle of buying the genuine article of any high-end product, is if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. This is a basic piece of advice for life which you should always rememeber and especially bear in mind when spending money - if followed, it will probably prevent you from ever being conned. The whole point of Evisu genes is that they are exclusive, although they now have major street-status - which leads to there being many fakes. Any Evisus under about £100 ($150) are likely to be fake.
By the way, I have bought both real and fake Evisus in my time.
December 16th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Actually I take it back. This guide complete shite.
1. The gulls will often overlap the bottom seam
2. Leather patches are not always stitched on perfectly
3. If you have the Japanese symbols on the leather patch it may be over the stitching
4. Stitching can be seen on both sides of selvedge and may even be of two different colours either side
http://www.baggamenswear.co.uk/PRD_MoreImages.aspx?pid=2754
This guy doesn’t know anything man, if you want to know if some Evisus are real or fake come to me.
December 16th, 2008 at 9:16 pm
Joe,
I’ve have bought and sold numerous Evisu jeans, and I believe that I do know what I am talking about.
If you read my guide carefully, you will see that your 1st point says exactly what my guide says.
My wording on the selvedge might not be proper. What I really wanted to point out is that on the fakes the selvedge in tucked under and then stitched through.
As for the rest of your comment I just have to disagree with you. When I was running my business on eBay, and the jeans just did not sell, I would drop my prices to $40 USD on certain Evisu models. Tell me that’s not a bargain.
Thanks for looking.

pertaining to the fake or true evisu, the very first part with relation to the seagull stiching stating that it shouldn’t cross the horizontal line on the back pocket. what if there is no horizontal line? does it imply that it is an imitation? pls advised!
